Reiki is a gentle hands on approach to healing the body, mind and spirit. It may be used for the healing and wellness of one's self or for the healing of others.
At IHS our mission is to enable all people to participate in the
process of wellness and healing. We believe one can only truly learn the
fundamentals of the ancient form of Reiki by hands on interaction with a
qualified Reiki Master who has served an authentic apprenticeship.
Wendy Williams has been a Reiki Master since 2005, and
has taught hundreds of students Reiki. PJ Dempsey began learning Reiki in 2005 from Wendy. PJ became a Reiki Master in 2008. Since 2007, which was the inception of IHS, she has assited Wendy in trainning many students.
Wendy and PJ use the teachings from Mikao Usui, ofJapan,
who originated the practice of Reiki. Master Usui imparted the secrets of Reiki
to sixteen teachers in order that the secrets of Reiki would not be lost. Each
